My brother and I are originally from Marrakech and have wrapped up all our absolute
favourites for this 9-days retreat to Morocco. This is a bespoke, curated trip that is
ideal for anyone who love vibrant colours, rich history & mouth-watering food.
I will be on hand for the duration of the trip to bring you to the best places to eat
(Moroccan food is not spicy!), to stay, and visit and make sure you will cherish this
unique experience forever.
This exclusive and unique experience is filled with breath-taking Riads, divine local
cuisine & touristic attractions. With us, you will also get to experience the authentic
Morocco. You will also enjoy a shopping experience like nothing you’ve seen in your
life!
All what you have to do is arrive to Marrakech airport on the 16th of September 2024
anytime between 9am and 11pm and we will take care of the rest! If you cannot find a
flight on the 16th, you can arrive on the 15th of September or earlier and we will take
care of your accommodation and food until the official tour begins (extra cost applies).
Welcome to Morocco, the wait is over!
Today, you will arrive to Marrakech airport where I will meet you. Our private driver
will transport you to the beautiful Riad wow in the old Medina. You have time to settle
in, relax in the stunning ground of the Riad before we meet up for a fabulous dinner at
the Riad.

A visit to Jardin Majorelle, a Mechoui and an unforgettable shopping experience
After a delicious breakfast at the Riad, we are off to the iconic Jardin Majorelle in
Marrakech style using Coach Horse (our brand name comes from this). This garden is also
home to Yves Saint Laurent Museum (not included), which pays homage to the French
designer. We will then head to the old Medina to eat Mechoui for lunch, a whole-roasted
lamb that is cooked in underground clay pits (lunch included). We will then take you to
the souk to see some of the artisans we work with for an unforgettable shopping
experience. We will subsequently head back to Riad Wow where we will have dinner later
that night.

A visit to Ourika Valley
Following breakfast at the Riad, we will head to the beautiful Berber village “Valley of
Ourika”. We will have a complimentary tagine while enjoying stunning views of the Atlas
Mountains and relaxing under the sound of running river. Then we will head back to
Marrakech to have dinner at Riad Wow.

Today you are free to do shopping, visit cultural sites or just relax at the Riad. We
can also will help you with suggestions if needed (including doing shopping).

A visit to the coastal city of Essaouira
Another perfect day waking up in the magical kingdom of Morocco, another gorgeous
breakfast at Riad Wow. Then we are off to Essaouira. On the way, we will stop to have a
complimentary authentic Moroccan brunch including freshly baked bread, argan oil,
olives, local honey & of course Moroccan tea! Then we check in at Riad Al Madina in
Essaouira before heading for a sardine barbecue lunch (included) at the ancient port of
Essaouira. You will enjoy a complimentary dinner at Riad Al Madina where you will be
spending the night.

We will enjoy breakfast at Riad Al Madina before heading to Sekaya (the old Medina of
Essaouira), and have a light lunch (not included) & head back to Marrakech

After breakfast at Riad Wow, we will head to the historical Madrassat Ibn Youssef
founded by Almoravid Sultan Ali Ibn Youssef (reigned 1106-1142). Here, you will be
mesmerised by the gorgeous Islamic architecture and take some Instagram-friendly
pictures! We will then head to the old Medina to have a light lunch (not included)
followed by a visit to the marvellous secret gardens. For dinner, my brother and I have
booked a really special place for you, the one and only Dar Moha restaurant. Here you
will be spoiled with delicious food prepared by world-renowned Chef Moha. We will enjoy
live traditional music including Gnawa & Oud instruments in a nice Moroccan décor while
treating your palate with some of the finest Moroccan food.

After your breakfast at the Riad, we will treat you with a traditional Moroccan Hammam.

This year my wife and I went on a commercial tour of Canada and agreed “never again” But then we heard of Koutchi personal guides to Morocco conducted by two brothers from Marrakech and have to say it was simply fantastic , no crowded venues, places where other tourists don’t know about. The brothers looked after our every need ,gave us time to explore but where always there if we needed them.Beautiful venues but also very traditional experiences .
