We are two brothers originally from Marrakech, and we’d love to share our Morocco with you.
KOUTCHI is our way of welcoming travellers into the country’s culture we know and love. Over 11 days, we’ll take you beyond the familiar sights to discover Morocco’s rich culture, beautiful landscapes, hospitable people, incredible food and the everyday moments that make this country so special.
From wandering through the colourful souks of Marrakech and sharing traditional Moroccan food to meeting local artisans, exploring the charming blue streets of Chefchaouen, enjoying a memorable stay at the five-star Grand Hotel Villa de France in Tangier, or staying in traditional Riads.
I will be on hand for the duration of the trip to bring you to the places and experiences we love most.
This curated trip is limited to a maximum of six like-minded travellers who appreciate learning a new culture.
We will take care of the planning, introduce you to knowledgeable local guides and help you discover the stories behind the places you visit.

Today, you will arrive to Marrakech airport where our private driver will meet you and transport you to the beautiful Riad wow in the old Medina. You have time to settle in, relax in the stunning Riad wow. They also serve dinner here if you don't want to go out for dinner (dinner not included). A list of recommended places to eat is provided

Madrassat Ibn Youssef & Secret Gardens
After breakfast at Riad Wow, our accredited guide will take us to the Andalucian garden “Secret Gardens” then we will visit the historical Madrassat Ibn Youssef founded by Almoravid Sultan Ali Ibn Youssef (reigned 1106-1142). Here, you will be mesmerised by the gorgeous Islamic architecture and take some Instagram-friendly pictures! We will then head to the old Medina to have a light lunch (not included). Free afternoon is given to discover Marrakech at your own pace (we recommend visiting Bahia Palace and “Le Musée de la Photographie et des Arts Visuels de Marrakech”).

A visit to Ourika Valley
Leave the bustle of Marrakech behind as we head towards the Ourika Valley, with its beautiful mountain scenery and traditional villages. We will enjoy a complimentary lunch together nearby a running river and overlooking the Atlas Mountains, with time to take in the view and appreciate a different pace of life.

A visit to Jardin Majorelle and an unforgettable fine dining experience
After a delicious breakfast at the Riad, we are off to the iconic Jardin Majorelle in Marrakech style using Coach Horse (our brand name comes from this). This garden is also home to Yves Saint Laurent Museum (included), which pays homage to the French designer. Our tickets also include the PIERRE BERGÉ museum of Berber arts. We will then take you to the souk to experience an authentic shopping experience where you can interact with local artisans and appreciate Moroccan artisanal crafts. Then you have free time on your own for more shopping or heading to the riad for a nap (we recommend checking out Longue Vie hotels
Marrakech for a day pass). For dinner, my brother and I have booked a really special place for you, the one and only Dar Moha restaurant. Here you will be spoiled with delicious fine food prepared by world-renowned Chef Moha. We will enjoy live traditional music including Gnawa & Oud instruments in a nice Moroccan décor while treating your palate with some of the finest Moroccan food.

A visit to the coastal city of Essaouira
Another perfect day waking up in the magical kingdom of Morocco, another gorgeous breakfast at Riad Wow. Then we are off to the Bohemian city, Essaouira. On the way, we will stop to have a complimentary authentic Moroccan brunch. Then we check in at Riad Al Madina in Essaouira. In the afternoon, our knowledgeable guide will provide a historical overview of the city (walking tour; duration: 1.5-2hrs). A complimentary dinner will be served at the riad.

Heading to Tangier via Casablanca
Our personal driver will take us from Essaouira to Casablanca where we will be taking the Moroccan fast train, Al Boraq to Tangier.
Accommodation: Grand Hotel Villa de France (5-stars hotel; the famous French artist Henry Matisse has stayed here with his wife)
The city that has inspired countless writers and artists
A guided tour to explore the city that has inspired numerous famous artists and writers. Free afternoon is given to explore other sites (we recommend the Ibn Battouta Museum)

A daytrip to the blue city, Chefchaouen
Our private driver will take us to Chefchaouen (about 2hrs drive) where we will have a complimentary lunch at Riad Maziana. Then our accredited guide will give us a walking tour to explore the hidden gems of the mesmerising blue city and its historical background.

LEBLED, a tranquil heaven just a step away
We will take the Moroccan fast train back to Casablanca where our private driver will meet us and take us to Marrakech. We will be retreating at the serene LEBLED away from hustle and bustle of the city. We will be staying for two nights here before departing Morocco. Breakfast and dinner are included here. We can organize private cooking class, a 48hrs notice is required to guarantee the booking.

A dream holiday from start to finish, thank you Ihssane and Kamal, after going to Morocco last year and living out of a suitcase we decided to do an immersion in Marrakech, this year, our favourite place and it didn’t disappoint. This trip was a bespoke well executed Marrakech based stay in a beautiful Riad central to souks, the main square walking distance to all, it included guided tours, shopping trips, private driver, most meals and an evening in world renowned restaurant for an unforgettable experience.
This was a well executed trip with days off to wander at your own pace we also visited the Atlas Mountains for lunch an overnight stay in Essaouira a bohemian seaside port city staying in another central Riad.
Morocco doesn’t disappoint and neither did our guides and now friends Isshane and Kamal thank you for a seamless and effortless travel experience highly recommended to anyone thinking of going we were a couple in a group of 4 the others single ladies we all agree this adventure was priced extremely well and most of all it was fun. ❤️

I had a great opportunity to see another country, and recently came from our tour in Morocco thru KOUTCHI MOROCCAN HANDMADE CRAFTS. Our fabulous hosts, IHSANNE and his brother KAMAL took excellent care of us and our needs. I felt safe and well looked after. Both are honest and reliable men.
Everything was well organised from the first day we arrived to the last day we left for home. All my senses were filled to the fullest. Incredible sights and culture. Great food. Bustling souks in Marrakech. Berber ladies singing while making Argan oil. Amazing Riads with friendly staff.
Highlights for me were seeing and visiting astounding 17th centuries of palaces, mosques, and City Walls of your interesting and colourful country of Morocco. I had so much fun. I have just completed the inaugural Koutchi tour to Morocco and I am impressed. This is an artfully designed itinerary filled with high quality accommodation, expert drivers and guides and unique destinations and surprise inclusions.
Isshane and Kamal are fluent in both French and Arabic ensuring that you are not missing out on any aspect due to a language barrier. As a guest, you are made to feel like one of their family and are consulted and guided at every opportunity as they are excited to share their culture and country with you.
The minor hiccup of an earthquake days before the tour commencement was handled with supreme professionalism and communication at every turn to ensure all guests were reassured of their safety.
When compared to other tours underway around us, Koutchi is a level above and the small nature ensures a far more personal and immersive experience. Pack your flat shoes, your open heart and mind and book your tour to explore this beautiful country. You could not ask for better hosts.
This year my wife and I went on a commercial tour of Canada and agreed “never again” But then we heard of Koutchi personal guides to Morocco conducted by two brothers from Marrakech and have to say it was simply fantastic , no crowded venues, places where other tourists don’t know about. The brothers looked after our every need ,gave us time to explore but where always there if we needed them.Beautiful venues but also very traditional experiences . Without doubt one of the best holidays we have had.
I recently returned from the inaugural Koutchi Moroccan handmade tour to Morocco. It was so well organized and enjoyable. We were based in Marrakesh with day & overnight trips to a number of fascinating places.
Our small group of four was treated to some exceptional experiences. From the accommodation in traditional riads, to authentic food and visits to remarkable sites. The shopping in the souks for beautiful handmade items where you meet the person that made it is very special. This bespoke trip ticked all the boxes.
