I recently returned from the inaugural Koutchi Moroccan handmade tour to Morocco. It was so well organized and enjoyable. We were based in Marrakesh with day & overnight trips to a number of fascinating places.
Our small group of four was treated to some exceptional experiences. From the accomodation in traditional riads, to authentic food and visits to remarkable sites. The shopping in the souks for beautiful handmade items where you meet the person that made it is very special. This bespoke trip ticked all the boxes.
Do yourself a favour and book a spot on the 2024 trip while they are still available.
It is undoubtedly one of the best trips I have ever done and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

This year my wife and I went on a commercial tour of Canada and agreed “never again” But then we heard of Koutchi personal guides to Morocco conducted by two brothers from Marrakech and have to say it was simply fantastic , no crowded venues, places where other tourists don’t know about. The brothers looked after our every need, gave us time to explore but were always there if we needed them. Beautiful venues but also very traditional experiences .
Without doubt one of the best holidays we have had.

I have just completed the inaugural Koutchi tour to Morocco and I am impressed.
This is an artfully designed itinerary filled with high quality accommodation, expert drivers and guides and unique destinations and surprise inclusions. Isshane and Kamal are fluent in both French and Arabic ensuring that you are not missing out on any aspect due to a language barrier. As a guest, you are made to feel like one of their family and are consulted and guided at every opportunity as they are excited to share their culture and country with you.
The minor hiccup of an earthquake days before the tour commencement was handled with supreme professionalism and communication at every turn to ensure all guests were reassured of their safety.
When compared to other tours underway around us, Koutchi is a level above and the small nature ensures a far more personal and immersive experience.
Pack your flat shoes, your open heart and mind and book your tour to explore this beautiful country. You could not ask for better hosts.

When visiting the Homegrown Markets at Speers Point, I was captured by the variety of attractive Moroccan leather belts on the Koutchi stand. We were greeted warmly by Ihssane who gave great assistance in my selection of a weaved belt. He measured for proper length and said he could alter it in a few minutes. My partner Alison then suggested a plainer leather belt which I also liked (among others... but I only have one waist...), so decided to purchase that as well. "Give me ten minutes for the alteration" gave us enough time to check out the rest of the market. On returning, one belt was still a little long, so Ihssane immediately adjusted that. Very pleased with the service received and knowing the belts were handcrafted in Morocco. Thank you Ihssane.

There’s just something special knowing that what you’re buying, comes directly from the artisans. I purchased the most beautiful cactus silk cushions. Ihssane was so wonderful sourcing the Colours and providing prompt communication and exceptional service. This is what the customer experience should always feel like- koutchi set the standard that’s for sure!

KOUTCHI has provided me with the most amazing art piece in the form of a vintage rug. Not only is it aesthetically beautiful, the feel of the rug pile is so soft and inviting
